About the Event

The 10th Edition of NCU National Moot Court Competition (NMCC) 2025 is organized by the School of Law, NCU. The competition focuses on legal and regulatory challenges surrounding environmental sustainability, data privacy, and corporate accountability. Law students from across the country will have the opportunity to argue on pressing legal issues before esteemed judges and legal professionals.

Format/Structure

The competition consists of multiple rounds, including Preliminary, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals. Participants will be evaluated on their legal reasoning, advocacy skills, research, and court mannerisms. The case problem revolves around a large-scale data processing facility and its impact on environmental and privacy laws.

Additional Details

• Eligibility: Open to students pursuing Three-Year or Five-Year Law Courses from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Team Composition: Each team must have two speakers and one researcher.
• Memorials: Teams must submit 10 hard copies and a soft copy (PDF format) via email at mootcourt@ncuindia.edu.
• Registration Process: Teams must fill out the registration form and submit the participation fee proof before 20th March 2025.
