11th IMS Unison University National Moot Court Competition 2024

We are delighted to announce the 11th IMS Unison University National Moot Court Competition, which promises to be an exciting and intellectually stimulating event for law students across India. This prestigious competition, organized by the Moot Court Society of the School of Law at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, offers an exceptional opportunity for aspiring legal minds to showcase their advocacy skills, engage in rigorous legal research, and compete for prestigious awards and recognition.

Event Schedule:

• Registration Opening: August 1, 2024
• Last Date of Registration: September 8, 2024
• Last Date for Submission of Soft Copy of Memorials: September 15, 2024
• Last Date for Submission of Hard Copy of Memorials: September 19, 2024
• Inaugural Ceremony, Draw of Lots, Exchange of Memorials, Researcher Test: September 19, 2024
• Quarter Finals & Semi Finals: September 20, 2024
• Final Round & Valedictory Ceremony: September 21, 2024

Eligibility:

The competition is open to students pursuing a three-year or five-year L.L.B. degree course from recognized law colleges/universities in India. L.L.M. students are also eligible to participate. Each institution may register one team consisting of a maximum of three members (two Mooters and one Researcher). All participants are required to carry their University/College ID cards during the competition.

Team Composition:

• Mooters: 2
• Researcher: 1

Awards and Certificates:

• Winner: INR 21,000/-, One-year complimentary subscription to SCC Online Web Edition
• Runner-up: INR 12,000/-, One-year complimentary subscription to EBC Learning
• Best Mooter: INR 4,000/-
• Best Researcher: INR 3,000/-
• Best Memorial (Respondent): INR 3,000/-
• Best Memorial (Petitioner): INR 3,000/-
• All Participants: One-month access to the SCC Online Web Edition

Registration Process:

To confirm participation, teams must complete the following steps:

1. Step 1: Fill in the details on the Google Form for registration.
2. Step 2: Send a scanned copy of the NEFT/IMPS/UPI transaction details to sol.mootcourt@iuu.ac by September 8, 2024. The subject of the email should be “Registration for IMS Unison University 11th National Moot Court Competition 2024”.
