The Centre for Academic Research and Excellence (CARE) is a reputed institution committed to fostering intellectual growth and legal scholarship. The 1st Indo-Pacific Technology Law Summit 2025 is a premier event under the larger Indo-Pacific Legal Summit banner. Organized by CARE in collaboration with ITechLaw, this summit is set to bring together distinguished voices from academia, technology, policy-making, and legal practice. The primary goal is to explore the dynamic intersections of law, technology, and innovation in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
Participants are encouraged to present original research and abstract-based proposals aligned with the following themes:

This is a single-round abstract-based selection process. Participants must submit their abstract (max 300 words) on any of the listed themes or a closely related tech-legal issue. Selected authors will be invited to present their work at the summit and may also be considered for future publication opportunities in associated academic journals. Evaluation will be based on originality, relevance to the Indo-Pacific region, and scholarly merit.

Free of cost – There is no registration fee for submission or participation.
The review and selection panel will include experts from CARE, ITechLaw, and guest faculty from reputed institutions across the Indo-Pacific. Names will be disclosed in due course.
Submissions are invited on an individual basis. Joint authorship (max 2 authors) is permissible but only one author may present the abstract at the summit.
