The 20th ICC Mediation Competition is a prestigious event focused exclusively on international commercial mediation. Scheduled to take place from February 3-8, 2025, in Paris, France, this competition gathers students from universities around the world to showcase their mediation skills in a practical, competitive environment. Teams will engage in simulated mediation scenarios, with the goal of resolving conflicts amicably and efficiently.

Location

The event will be held in the beautiful city of Paris, France, known for its rich history and vibrant culture. Participants will have the opportunity to explore iconic landmarks while engaging in one of the most significant mediation competitions globally.

Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements:

• The competition accepts applications from universities only; individual students cannot apply.
• Each university can nominate a team of 2-4 students, with at least one member being a law student.
• Teams may be accompanied by up to two coaches, but other individuals or non-team students are not permitted to attend.
• Two universities may jointly apply for one team.
• Students can only participate once as a competing team member.

The registration fees vary based on the number of team members:

• Two students: €355 (approx. ₹30,885)
• Three students: €465 (approx. ₹40,455)
• Four students: €565 (approx. ₹49,255)
• First coach: Included in initial registration fee
• Second coach: €100 (approx. ₹8,700)
• Observer: €340 (approx. ₹29,580)

Refund Policy:

• 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if a cancellation notice is received in writing before November 23, 2024. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this date.
