The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, is a premier institution known for its excellence in legal education and scholarship. In honor of the late jurist H.M. Seervai, the University conducts the Annual H.M. - Eligibility:
Open to law students enrolled in LL.B., B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., or B.Com. LL.B. programs in any recognized institution in India. - Essay Topic:
“How should Indian Election Law be amended to strengthen Indian constitutional democracy?” - Submission Guidelines:
- Original, unpublished, single-authored essay.
- Length: 7,000–10,000 words (inclusive of footnotes).
- Formatting: Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced; OSCOLA citation style.
- Attach a bonafide certificate signed by an institutional authority.
- Plagiarism checks mandatory.
Location
The competition is conducted online, with entries submitted digitally.
