The School of Law and Governance at CUSB is a hub for innovative legal education and research. Guided by distinguished faculty, it equips students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in a rapidly evolving legal landscape. The school has an impressive record in national and international moot court competitions and emphasizes governance studies and social justice.
This flagship event, organized in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), focuses on emerging jurisprudence in Competition Law. The moot proposition, set in the Republic of Aranyapur, addresses the interplay between competition law and intellectual property rights (IPR). With hybrid rounds, this competition aims to simulate a professional courtroom environment while enhancing research and advocacy skills among participants.

The competition is conducted in two stages:
Each team will prepare and submit memorials for both sides of the case, addressing procedural and substantive legal issues.
The on-campus rounds will take place at CUSB’s picturesque campus in Gaya, located near Bodh Gaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the iconic Vishnupad Temple.
