About the Event
Building on the success of the inaugural edition, the 2nd Justice Hidayatullah International Moot Court Competition (HIMCC) continues HNLU’s tradition of excellence. This international moot court event, centered on recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards under the New York Convention, invites participation from leading law schools across the globe.
Participants will engage in advanced advocacy rounds judged by eminent legal professionals, including High Court judges, academicians, and top-tier practitioners. With a challenging proposition and substantial cash prizes, the competition aims to elevate legal scholarship and courtroom skills.

Format/Structure
- Preliminary Rounds: Teams argue for both sides; top teams advance based on raw scores.
