About the Event

The 2nd RRU International Moot Court Competition (RIMC 2025) is organized by the School of Criminal Law and Military Law at RRU. Following the success of the inaugural edition in 2024, this year’s competition will be held on the theme “International Law and Global Security.”

The event aims to simulate proceedings before the International Court of Justice, providing law students with hands-on exposure to international law, dispute resolution, and global security challenges. Participants will engage with pressing legal issues such as sanctions on third-country entities, trade of dual-use items, admissibility of claims before the ICJ, and non-compliance with international court judgments.

This moot court is designed to build advocacy skills, enhance legal research capacity, and nurture future leaders in international law and policy.
