The Moot Court Society of Narayan School of Law, Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU), proudly announces the 3rd Deo Mangal Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2024. This prestigious event will take place from November 29 to December 15, 2024, in Hybrid Mode.

About the Organizer

Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) is a prominent private university situated in Jamuhar village, near Sasaram in the Rohtas district of Bihar, India. Established on June 15, 2018, GNSU was one of the first six private universities in Bihar, recognized by the Bihar Gazette following a decision of the Bihar cabinet. The university is dedicated to providing quality education and has rapidly established itself as a center for academic excellence.

About the Competition

The Deo Mangal Memorial National Moot Court Competition serves as an exceptional platform for aspiring legal professionals to engage in meaningful legal discussions, hone their advocacy skills, and navigate the complexities of law in real-time scenarios. The competition aims to foster analytical thinking and empower students with practical experiences that are crucial for their future careers in law.

  • Event Dates: November 29 to December 15, 2024
  • Mode: Hybrid

Eligibility Criteria

  • Law students enrolled in a 3-year LLB program or a 5-year integrated program from any college, institution, or university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are eligible to participate.
  • A maximum of two teams from any college/institution/university will be permitted to enter.

General Rules

  • Each team may consist of either two or three members:
    • Two Members: One designated as a Speaker and the other as a Researcher.
    • Three Members: Two designated as Speakers and one as a Researcher.
  • Substitutions for team members are not allowed after the registration form has been submitted, except with prior permission from the organizers.
