About the GCRCJS Legislative Drafting Competition

Organized by the GNLU Centre for Research in Criminal Justice Sciences (GCRCJS), the 3rd Legislative Drafting Competition is a prestigious event that challenges participants to draft a model legislative framework on a contemporary theme. The focus for the 2025 edition is Online Gaming and Gambling (Regulation) Act, 2025, encouraging innovative and practical solutions in an evolving legal domain.

This competition emphasizes drafting precision, analytical skills, and creativity, providing participants with hands-on experience in legislative drafting.

    • Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line Spacing: 1.5.
    • Footnotes: Size: 10, Single Spacing.
    • Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
  3. Submission:
    • Formats: PDF and Word (Doc/Docx).
    • File Name: “Legislative_Drafting_[Name/TeamName].”
    • Plagiarism: Strictly limited to 25%.
