About the Society for Constitutional Law & Human Rights (SCLHR)
Founded on August 15, 2018, SCLHR aims to foster research and deepen understanding of constitutional law and human rights. The society organizes various national events, including constitutional quizzes and judgment writing competitions, to enhance students’ legal research and analytical skills.
About the Competition
The 4th National Constitutional Law Judgment Writing Competition provides a platform for law students to draft judgments based on a given factual scenario. The competition enhances critical thinking, legal research skills, and concise writing proficiency by simulating the judicial decision-making process.
Important Details
- Eligibility: Open to students currently pursuing their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law from any recognized university in India.
- Participation: Individual or team (maximum of 2 members).
- Registration Fee:
- Individual: ₹250
- Team: ₹400
- Prizes:
- 1st Prize: ₹5,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹3,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹2,000
- Certificates of Merit for the top 5 judgments.
- Certificates of Participation for all participants.
- Important Dates:
- Last date for registration: 5th September 2023
- Last date for judgment submission: 2nd October 2023
- Result announcement: 25th October 2023
