About the University/Organization
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS), established the Department of Law in 2017 with the BA LL.B (Hons.) program. With academic expansion to BBA LL.B in 2020 and LLM in 2022, the department continues to grow as a hub for legal scholarship and experiential learning, attracting aspirants through CLAT and promoting excellence in legal research and pedagogy.
About the Event
The 4th MAIMS Mock Trial Competition, 2025 offers an opportunity for law students across India to engage in simulated courtroom experience on a pressing legal-social theme: “The Ethics of Online Comedy Content.” In an age where humor can blur into hate, this event aims to encourage responsible creative expression while sharpening legal reasoning skills in participants.
Through previous successful themes like the POCSO Act, Male Victimization, and Child Custody Abduction, MAIMS has carved a niche for innovative legal simulation that challenges students to think critically and ethically.
