About the Organisers
The Amikus Qriae (TAQ) is a leading legal platform established by eminent legal professionals and academicians. Registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 and the Ministry of MSME, it is ISO 9001:2015 certified. It is the 8th largest legal website in India with over 20,000 law students from 80+ reputed law schools.


About the Competition
The 4th National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2025, organized by TAQ, focuses on Information Technology, Data Privacy, and Constitutional Law. The competition includes preliminary rounds, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final round.


Eligibility

Open to all students enrolled in:

  • 5-year integrated law programs
  • 3-year LL.B. programs
  • LL.M. programs

Team Composition

  • 2 Members: Both shall be speakers
  • 3 Members: Two speakers and one researcher
  • Cross-institutional teams allowed
  • Maximum of 4 teams per institution

Structure of the Competition

  • Preliminary Rounds: Each team argues once as Petitioner and once as Respondent
  • Quarter-Finals: Top 8 teams qualify
  • Semi-Finals: Top 4 teams compete
  • Final: Best 2 teams compete
