Sree Narayana Law College (SNLC), Poothotta, is a premier law institution affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, established in 2012. Concept Note

The 5th All India Moot Court Competition seeks to inspire and cultivate essential skills among law students, including drafting, writing, and oration. The competition provides an invaluable platform for participants to engage in legal research, stay updated on judicial trends, and refine their advocacy skills. This initiative promotes educational and cultural exchanges among students, educators, and legal practitioners.

The competition consists of five rounds, allowing participants to demonstrate their legal prowess:

  • Round 01 – Memorial Submission
  • Round 02 – Preliminary Round (Virtual)
  • Round 03 – Quarter-Finals Round (Virtual)
  • Round 04 – Semi-Finals Round (Offline)
  • Round 05 – Finals Round (Offline)

Note: Offline rounds will be conducted at the college on specified dates.

Team Composition and Eligibility

  • Each team should comprise two speakers and one researcher.
  • Students from any law college, institution, or university recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.
  • All participants must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year or 5-year courses).
  • Only one team per college will be allowed to participate.

Registration Procedure

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration process includes provisional and final registration steps:

  1. Provisional Registration: Teams must register by filling out the Provisional Registration Link by October 22, 2024.
  2. After provisional registration, teams will receive confirmation from the organizers.
  3. Final registration is required by October 29, 2024. Each team must pay a registration fee of Rs. 4000.

Provisional registration after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
