About the Organizers
The Surana & Surana International Attorneys, in collaboration with the Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali, is organizing the 6th Surana & Surana and Army Institute of Law Family Law Moot Court Competition. This prestigious moot competition aims to foster legal awareness and research in family law, providing students with an opportunity to engage in high-quality advocacy and argumentation.
About the Competition
The 6th edition of the Family Law Moot Court Competition is designed to encourage students to analyze, research, and argue on evolving aspects of family law jurisprudence. Participants will argue a compelling moot problem based on contemporary legal issues, helping them develop advanced research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
The competition follows a hybrid format with Preliminary and Octa-Final rounds conducted virtually, while the Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, and Final rounds will be held on-campus at Army Institute of Law, Mohali.

- Eligibility: Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses in the current academic year.
- Team Composition: Each team must comprise 2 speakers and 1 researcher.
