About the Call for Papers (Volume IV, 2025)

The ITLJ is inviting submissions for its Volume IV, 2025. The journal encourages submissions addressing contemporary themes in International Trade Law, including but not limited to WTO law, trade agreements, digital trade, and investment law.

Submission Categories

  1. Long Articles (6,000–8,000 words)
    • In-depth analysis of complex legal issues, incorporating domestic, international, or cross-jurisdictional perspectives.
  2. Short Articles (4,000–6,000 words)
    • Focused examination of contemporary legal issues with analytical rigor and logical conclusions.
  3. Case Comments & Legislative Notes (1,500–2,500 words)
    • Detailed analysis of judicial decisions or legislative developments, providing reform-oriented suggestions.

Submissions may address topics within the following broad themes:

Formatting Guidelines

  • Body Text: Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, justified alignment.
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10, line spacing 1.0, using OSCOLA (4th edition) citation style.
  • Margins: 1″ on all sides.
  • Graphs, Tables, and Images: High-quality attachments to be sent separately.
  • Abstract: Each submission must include an abstract of no more than 350 words.

Submission Process

  • Submission Email: Send your manuscript to itlj@nliu.ac.in with the subject line “Submission for Volume IV.”
  • Co-authorship: Allowed for up to two authors from the same or different institutions.
  • Include a covering email with the author(s) name, institutional affiliation, manuscript title, and category of submission.
  • Ensure the manuscript does not include any identifying information.

Additional Information

  • Authors of selected manuscripts will transfer copyright to the editorial board.
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and non-plagiarized.
  • The final decision regarding acceptance rests with the editorial board.
