About the Event
HPNLU is inviting submissions for the seventh volume of Shimla Law Review (ISSN: 2582-1903). This annual publication welcomes manuscripts from faculty members, research scholars, judges, professionals, and students. SLR provides a platform to explore contemporary socio-legal issues and encourages contributions that address emerging developments in law from diverse perspectives.
The journal does not adhere to a specific theme, allowing for a broad spectrum of scholarly submissions that enrich legal academia and practice.

Submission Categories
- Lead or Special Articles: 15,000 – 20,000 words
- Articles: 8,000 – 15,000 words
- Case Comments: 6,000 – 8,000 words
- Notes/Legislative Comments: 6,000 – 7,000 words
- Book Reviews: 2,000 – 3,000 words All word counts are inclusive of footnotes.
Submission Guidelines
- Format: All submissions must be in MS Word format, double-spaced, with a left margin of 1.5 inches.
- Abstract: Include an abstract (250-300 words) with the manuscript.
- Cover Letter: The cover letter should specify the title, author details, institutional affiliation, and a declaration of originality.
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original and unpublished. AI-generated content will not be accepted.
- Submission Method: Send submissions via email to editorslr@hpnlu.ac.in with the subject line: “SLR Vol-VII, 2024: Submission of Manuscript.”
- Communication of Acceptance: The Editorial Board’s decision on publication is final and will be communicated electronically.
