The Faculty of Law Osijek is one of the leading legal education institutions in Croatia, renowned for fostering academic excellence and promoting international legal research. In collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the Representation of the European Commission in Croatia, and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Faculty organizes key events and conferences that contribute to European and global legal discourse.


About the Event

The 9th International Conference on EU and Comparative Law Issues and Challenges (ECLIC) will address the theme “Strong and Secure Europe: Legal and Economic Aspects.” The conference will reflect on the European Union’s Strategic Agenda for 2024-2029, focusing on pressing legal and economic issues facing the EU, while presenting solutions to enhance resilience, unity, and global competitiveness. Key discussions will revolve around EU sovereignty, digital transformation, economic stability, human rights, and the rule of law.
