About the Event

NLSIU is introducing a new BA (Hons.) Programme, designed to leverage the university’s 35 years of experience in academic leadership. This multi-disciplinary programme is a step toward broadening educational horizons, offering students the opportunity to pursue majors and minors, alongside practice-oriented learning opportunities in fields like AI, filmmaking, and digital journalism. With an emphasis on holistic development and cross-disciplinary learning, this programme is set to redefine undergraduate education in India. An online information session on the NLS BA (Hons.) Programme will take place on January 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM IST. This session will provide in-depth details on the course structure, application process, and the university’s vision.

The NLS BA (Hons.) Programme offers a highly flexible and customizable academic structure. Students can choose a combination of majors and minors in disciplines such as History, Sociology, Economics, and Politics. Additionally, they will engage in open electives, internships, and practice courses. In the fourth year, students may also complete a research dissertation and contribute to faculty-led research initiatives.
