About the Opportunity

This long-term internship program offers two dedicated positions for law students seeking hands-on exposure to public interest law, legal research, and advocacy.

The selected interns will work on a non-profit pilot initiative at the intersection of law, public policy, and social justice. This is an ideal opportunity for law students passionate about using legal tools to address systemic issues and contribute to governance reform.

Interns will gain practical experience in drafting legal representations, preparing case briefs, assisting in court proceedings, and collaborating with the legal team on high-impact projects.

Format and Structure

Interns will engage in structured assignments designed to enhance both academic and practical skills.

The program will involve:

• Research Assignments: Legal and policy-based research on active and emerging issues.
• Drafting Work: Legal representations, agreements, and content creation on legal topics.
• Court Engagement: Observing proceedings, preparing summaries, and assisting in litigation strategy.
• Team Collaboration: Working with senior advocates and research associates on project deliverables.

Responsibilities

1. Research and draft representations to support legal and policy change.
2. Assist in legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case summaries.
3. Contribute written content on legal issues and reform topics.
4. Collaborate with the legal team for administrative and research support.
5. Assist in drafting/reviewing agreements and other legal instruments.
6. Participate in matters related to corporate law, arbitration, and litigation.

Stipend & Duration

• Stipend: Unpaid (Focus on professional training and mentorship)
• Duration: Minimum 3 Months
