About the Event

India International Arbitration Centre and Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, present a 6-day Online Training Workshop on Arbitration, Advocacy, and Award Drafting. This expert-led program is tailored for seasoned legal professionals and arbitrators seeking to gain practical insights into arbitration procedures, award drafting, and oral advocacy. Participants will receive hands-on training through mock sessions, case management exercises, and award-writing simulations.

The workshop also offers eligibility for empanelment at IIAC, making it a valuable opportunity for career advancement in the field of arbitration.

Format/Structure

  • Arbitration Training: Overview, initiation, procedures, case management, and understanding key IIAC Regulations (2023 & 2024).
  • Oral Advocacy: Argumentation techniques, presentation skills, cross-examination, and mock hearings.
  • Award Drafting: Key components, sample analysis, practical drafting tasks, and expert feedback.
  • Final Assessment: Participants scoring 50% or more will be awarded a certificate of completion by IIAC & MLS.

  • Online Mode: Attend from anywhere with expert-led sessions and interactive components.

Additional Details

  • Eligibility:
    • Legal Professionals with minimum 5 years of experience OR
    • Arbitrators with minimum 10 years of experience (at least 5 years in arbitration) OR
    • Individuals 35 years or older
  • Seats: Limited to the first 30 registered candidates
  • Fee:
    • Non-MAHE Candidates: ₹30,000 + 18% GST
    • MAHE Candidates: ₹30,000
  • Empanelment Opportunity: Subject to IIAC’s eligibility criteria
  • Certification: Joint Certificate by IIAC & MLS
