About the Event

The Annual Essay Competition is CELP’s flagship initiative encouraging law and social science students to reflect critically on pressing issues through an interdisciplinary lens. This year’s theme, “Viksit Bharat 2047: Envisioning India’s Journey to Development”, invites original insights on India’s developmental journey through legal, institutional, and policy-based reforms.

Submissions will be judged on originality, depth of analysis, legal reasoning, and clarity.

✔️ Students currently enrolled in:

  • 3-year or 5-year LL.B. Programmes
  • 1-year or 2-year LL.M. Programmes
  • Any UG/PG programme in Law or Social Sciences from a recognized Indian institution

A: No. The competition is open only to students from recognized Indian institutions.

Q4: Will I get a certificate if I don’t win?
A: Yes. All registered participants will receive e-certificates.

Q5: Is co-authorship allowed?
A: Yes, for up to two authors per essay.
