About the Job

OPAP is seeking a qualified and experienced Lawyer to join its in-house legal team, with a primary focus on litigation and international arbitration. The position involves managing a wide range of disputes (civil, criminal, labor, and IP), advising internal business units, and contributing to strategic legal processes.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Athens, offering exposure to complex legal matters and a dynamic in-house legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent OPAP Group in litigation and international arbitration proceedings
• Handle civil, criminal, labor, and IP matters with increasing autonomy
• Draft and review legal opinions, pleadings, internal memos, and other legal documents
• Conduct in-depth legal research and case law analysis
• Provide legal consultation to internal stakeholders and business units
• Monitor legal developments, update relevant teams, and recommend necessary legal adjustments
• Participate in internal legal projects and enhance litigation workflows

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
• Master’s Degree (LLM) in Private Law, Civil Law, or Labor Law (preferred)

Experience:

• 3–5 years of legal experience (law firm or corporate legal department)
• Proven courtroom and arbitration experience required

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Greek (written and spoken)
