About the University/Organization
University of Lucknow, one of India’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, stands as a pillar of academic and cultural excellence. Established in 1867 and now rated A++ by NAAC, it is home to the renowned Faculty of Law, which has produced some of the country’s finest legal minds—including former Presidents and legal scholars.
The Lucknow University Moot Court Association (LUMCA) is the vibrant student-run arm of the Faculty of Law, founded in 2012 to foster courtroom skills, research aptitude, and practical legal training. With a rich history of national and international moots, article writing contests, seminars, and drafting competitions, LUMCA is where law meets life.
