About the Event
The Beena Sondhi LLM Scholarship provides full tuition fee coverage for the LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice at SOAS for the academic year 2025–26. Targeting graduates from India, this prestigious scholarship aims to empower passionate individuals with a strong academic background and a dedication to advancing human rights and criminal justice. Preference will be given to candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, religious minorities, and other marginalized communities.

Format/Structure
Applicants must:
- Apply for the LLM Human Rights, Conflict and Justice programme at SOAS.
- Submit a scholarship application online.
- Provide a personal statement (1,000–1,500 words) explaining their background, passion for human rights law, future aspirations, and how the scholarship would support their journey.
- Submit one academic letter of recommendation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate degree completed in India (Law degree: First-class or high second-class preferred).
- Strong commitment to human rights and criminal law.
