About the Opportunity

NLUD is inviting applications for the post of Full-Time Researcher for a project on New Criminal Laws. This position is contractual in nature, initially for three months and extendable up to six months based on requirements. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Project Coordinator and contribute to high-impact legal research, review of legal content, and ensure terminological accuracy in the subject area.

• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Legal content review for accuracy and citations
  • Assisting with broader research tasks
• Eligibility:
  • Essential: Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A.LL.B.), excellent legal writing, updated knowledge of criminal law
  • Desirable: LL.M./Ph.D., experience working on criminal law reform or similar research projects
• Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in English
  • Competency with MS Office tools
