Call for Blog Submissions: NLIU Cell for Studies in Intellectual Property Rights (CSIPR)
About NLIU:
The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, is a premier public law school established in 1997 under the National Law School system. Located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, NLIU is a leader in legal education and research, fostering academic excellence across various fields of law.
About NLIU-CSIPR:
The NLIU Cell for Studies in Intellectual Property Rights (CSIPR) was created to promote research and discourse on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). CSIPR actively organizes academic events and publishes the annual NLIU IPR Law Journal, providing a platform for students, professionals, and scholars to engage with evolving IPR issues.
The CSIPR Blog is a student-led initiative dedicated to addressing key developments in intellectual property and technology law, inviting diverse perspectives to enrich legal scholarship.
Submission Guidelines:
- Scope: Submissions should focus on intellectual property law and/or technology law, discussing contemporary issues, recent amendments, or overlooked areas of these fields.
- Word Count: Minimum 800 words, maximum 1500 words (exceptions made case-by-case).
- Co-Authorship: Up to two authors may collaborate on a post.
Structure & Formatting:
- Sub-headings are encouraged for clarity.
- References should be hyperlinked where possible. In exceptional cases, use endnotes following the Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
Submission Format:
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx) without any identifying details of the author(s).
- Title: Should not exceed 20 words.
- Keywords: Provide 5 keywords summarizing the essence of the submission.
Post-Review Process:
- Each submission will go through a two-stage internal review process.
- Authors may be asked to revise language, justify their legal positions, or respond to comments for publication.
Submission Procedure:
- How to Submit: All submissions must be made using the submission form provided on the CSIPR website.
- Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Originality & Plagiarism:
- Submissions must be original and should not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
- Violations of plagiarism rules will be subject to appropriate action.
Republishing and Citation:
- Posts may be republished or cited elsewhere with proper acknowledgment of their first appearance on the CSIPR Blog.
