Introduction:

Established in 2001, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) is situated in Dwarka, New Delhi, India. USLLS is strategically located near significant legal institutions such as the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, various subordinate courts, commissions, tribunals, and national and international voluntary organizations' monitoring offices.

About the Blog:

The USLLS ADR Blog is an initiative of the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Recognizing the importance of sustained academic deliberation in fostering the growth of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Law, the blog serves as a platform for discussions and analyses within the ADR domain. It aims to engage academicians, researchers, students, and practitioners to promote ADR culture and gather diverse perspectives from stakeholders.

Advisory Board:

The USLLS ADR Blog benefits from a diverse Advisory Board comprising accomplished individuals in the field of ADR. Members include Mr. Ratan K. Singh (Senior Advocate and Arbitrator), Mr. Shashank Garg (Independent Counsel and Arbitrator), Mr. Divyakant Lahoti (Advocate-on-Record and Arbitrator), Mr. Thomas P. Valenti (Attorney and Conflict Resolution Specialist), Ms. Veena Ralli (Mediator and Organising Secretary, Samadhan – Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre), and Dr. Nidhi Gupta (Associate Professor, NLU Jodhpur).

Submission Guidelines:

The blog invites submissions on various aspects of ADR, adhering to the following guidelines:

1. Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted. Authors' details should be omitted to facilitate a double-blind review process.

2. Submissions must be original and unpublished work, avoiding any form of plagiarism.

3. Submissions should be concise, ranging between 1000-2000 words. Longer posts may be considered for publication in parts.

4. Formatting guidelines include Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, and justified text alignment.

5. Citations should be in the Bluebook 20th edition format, with endnotes, Times New Roman font, size 10, 1.0 line spacing, and justified text alignment.

Review Process:

Submitted articles undergo a rigorous double-blind review process by two editors. The review typically concludes within 14 days from the date of submission acknowledgment. Authors receive feedback and are given 10 days to make suggested changes in good faith.

Copyright and Exclusivity:

Accepted manuscripts become the property of the blog, retaining the author's moral rights. Exclusive publication rights are granted, prohibiting publication elsewhere.

Submission Procedure:

Rolling submissions are accepted via email to operations@usllsadrblog.com. Submissions must be in Word format ('.doc' or '.docx'), accompanied by an abstract of no more than 100 words. Authors are requested to provide a short biography detailing their current designation and institutional affiliations.
