Authors are encouraged to explore additional themes that align with the overarching focus of the CARCL Blog.
Submission Guidelines
- Co-authorship of up to two (2) authors is allowed.
- Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification from publication.
- Submissions should provide a novel analysis of contemporary legal developments rather than being merely descriptive.
- Content should not include offensive, abusive, derogatory, or potentially defamatory material.
- Submissions must range between 1,000 and 1,500 words. Longer submissions may be considered for publication in parts at the Editorial Board’s discretion (authors should discuss this possibility with the Board in advance).
- Formatting:
- Title: Garamond, size 14, Small Caps, underlined, and bold.
- Headings (2 & 3): Garamond, size 12, Small Caps, bold.
- Body Text: Garamond, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified.
- Hyperlinks should be used for all references; endnotes can be used for citations without hyperlinks (Garamond, size 10, single spacing).
- Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (
.doc
or.docx
) and named as “author’s name_CARCL Blog”. - Adherence to formatting guidelines is mandatory.
How to Submit?
All submissions must be uploaded via the Google Form. Submissions made through alternative channels will not be considered. The review process typically takes 1-2 weeks. For any delays, authors may request updates by contacting us at carcl@nluassam.ac.in.
