About the Blog and Call for Submissions
The Law Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS) Collective’s blog at MNLU Mumbai serves as a platform for research at the intersection of law and other disciplines from a Global South perspective. It welcomes submissions from students, legal professionals, researchers, and policymakers, aiming to foster academic discourse and resource collation.
General Guidelines
– Submissions are open to individuals across the legal and humanities fraternity.
– Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is permitted.
– Content should be original, exclusive, and unpublished.
– Submissions must relate to the intersection of law with humanities and social sciences.
– Accepted submissions grant copyright to the Blog.
– Maximum similarity index allowed is 15%.
Content and Formatting Guidelines
– Word limit: 1500-2000 words (flexible in consultation with the Editorial Board).
– Title: Times New Roman, Size 14, All Caps, Bold.
– Main body: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 Line Spacing.
– References: Hyperlinks in the body or endnotes as per Bluebook 20th Edition.
– Submission format: Word document (.doc/.docx) without author information.
Timeline for Review
– Response within 15 days of submission receipt.
Submission of Ideas–Guidelines
– Submit tentative ideas as formal abstracts to lhssblog@mnlumumbai.edu.in.
– Editors will assess publication potential and provide feedback.
– Develop approved ideas into full-fledged articles.
