The CELS Enviro-Legal Blog is an initiative to foster scholarly discussion on contemporary environmental and legal issues. It provides a platform for law students, researchers, and professionals to share insights, critiques, and analyses of pressing environmental challenges. The blog encourages critical interdisciplinary research on environmental jurisprudence, aiming to stimulate discourse among policymakers, academicians, and practitioners.

Call for Submissions

CELS invites original contributions on “Contemporary Environmental Matters”, exploring legal and policy aspects of environmental issues. Submissions should feature high-quality legal analysis, case law discussion, legislative reviews, and policy critiques.

Submission Guidelines

Criteria	Details
Plagiarism	Strictly prohibited.
Word Limit	1500-1800 words (excluding abstract and endnotes).
Abstract	Maximum of 150 words.
Co-authorship	Allowed (maximum two authors).
Formatting	Times New Roman, Font Size 12 (main text), Font Size 10 (endnotes), 1.5 line spacing.
Citation Style	Bluebook (21st Edition) for offline sources; in-text hyperlinks for online sources.
File Format	Manuscript in .doc or .docx format (anonymous submission).
Cover Letter	Separate file including author details, academic background, and contact information.
Declaration Form	Authors must submit a signed declaration form confirming original authorship.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

Interested authors must follow these steps:

1. Prepare the manuscript as per submission guidelines.
2. Rename the file to the article title (without author details).
3. Attach a separate cover letter with author details.
4. Fill out the Submission Form and upload the required documents.
5. Sign and submit the Declaration Form.
