About the University/Organization

Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur (DNLU) is a rapidly growing institution established in 2018 with the goal of providing value-based legal education. National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ), founded in 2001, is a premier institute in the field of legal education and research in India. With a strong focus on scholarly excellence, NLUJ regularly contributes to evolving areas of law and hosts major academic initiatives.

Centre for Studies in International Trade and Investment Laws (CITIL) at DNLU and the Research and Advisory Centre on International Economic Law (RACIEL) at NLUJ are research-oriented hubs committed to strengthening legal scholarship in the fields of international trade, WTO law, and investment law. Both centres aim to bridge academic research with policy developments and real-world applications in international law.


About the Event

This edited volume seeks to critically examine the intricate relationship between international trade and sustainable development, a subject gaining paramount relevance amid global calls for ecological and economic justice. With trade mechanisms increasingly intersecting with climate change, environmental policy, labour rights, and equity, this book aims to contribute a multidimensional legal perspective.
