About the Event

The Journal of National Law University Delhi (JNLUD) is inviting submissions for its upcoming issue, Volume 11 (2025). The journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed platform dedicated to publishing original and scholarly works in various branches of law. The journal aims to foster critical legal discussions and contribute to the development of the legal profession. JNLUD is guided by an editorial committee comprising eminent legal scholars and professionals.

Submission Categories and Word Limits

  • Short Articles: 6,000-8,000 words
  • Long Articles: 8,000-10,000 words
  • Notes and Comments: Less than 5,000 words, focusing on recent cases, legislation, or policies.
  • Book Reviews: Around 2,500 words, critically analyzing the themes and ideas in the book.

Each submission, except book reviews, must be accompanied by a 300-word abstract and five keywords. Co-authorship is allowed for up to three authors. Authors must ensure that their work is original and previously unpublished.

  • Closing Date for Submission: 15 January 2025

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt (main text), 10 pt (footnotes)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text), 1 (footnotes)
  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
  • File Format: MS Word (doc./docx.)
  • Abstract: Not more than 300 words, accompanied by five keywords.

Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind peer review process. Submissions are first reviewed by the Editorial Board and then by independent reviewers. The process takes 10-12 weeks, with decisions communicated to authors within 12-15 weeks of submission.

Open Access Policy

JNLUD adheres to an open access policy, making all published content freely available without any time limit. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, permitting both commercial and non-commercial use as long as proper attribution is provided.

  • JNLUD does not charge any submission or publication fees.
