National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) is pleased to announce the call for submissions for the inaugural volume of its esteemed journal, Solventia.

About NLUJ:

Established under the National Law University, Jodhpur, Act, 1999 by the Rajasthan State Legislature, National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) stands as a prominent public law school and a distinguished National Law University in India.

About Solventia:

Solventia – Journal for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, aims to foster and advance innovative scholarship and research within the domain of Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws. Our objective is to contribute to the ongoing discourse by facilitating dynamic and advanced research, encompassing both pragmatic and theoretical analysis at the national and international levels. As a bi-annual, double-blind peer-reviewed and edited journal, Solventia focuses exclusively on topics relevant to Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws, spanning both domestic and international legal and policy issues.

Theme:

The overarching theme for submissions to Solventia is Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws.

Submission Guidelines:

Solventia invites submissions in the following categories:

Long Articles: 6,000 to 8,000 words (excluding footnotes).

Short Articles: 3,000 to 6,000 words (excluding footnotes).

Case Notes/Book Reviews: 1,500 to 2,000 words (excluding footnotes).

Collaborative Work: Manuscripts may be co-authored by a maximum of three (3) authors.

File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

Relevance: Submissions must align with the subject and scope of Solventia.

Abstract: Each submission should include an abstract of no more than 200 words.

Citation Style: Authors must adhere to OSCOLA: The Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities for citations and footnotes.

Citation Format: Footnotes should be the sole form of citation, with substantive footnotes being discouraged. However, exceptions may be made for providing definitions or clarifications.

Cover Page: Authors are required to submit a separate cover page containing a brief biographical description, the author's name, affiliation, qualifications, and contact details. The manuscript itself should not contain any identifying information.
