About Oxford University Press and Oxford Intersections
Oxford University Press, a global leader in academic publishing, has launched Oxford Intersections, a pioneering initiative that focuses on peer-reviewed interdisciplinary research addressing some of the world’s most urgent environmental, political, social, and cultural issues. The project seeks to connect research with policy-making, offering a robust scholarly platform for meaningful global conversations.
Oxford Intersections is not a handbook or an encyclopaedia—it consists of high-quality, original research articles that are published within a uniquely structured digital framework, allowing for interdisciplinary exploration across interrelated topics. This call falls under the broader Racism by Context project, which unpacks the multi-layered and systemic nature of racism.
About the Call for Papers
The Academia and Education section of Racism by Context invites interdisciplinary research that explores racism’s influence in educational settings—formal, informal, and non-traditional (e.g., social media, community learning).
Oxford Intersections encourages submissions from contributors across disciplines, institutions, and professional levels—including early-career researchers, PhD candidates, and practitioners.
