About Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University:

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) is a leading public law school and National Law University located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Since its inception in 2005, RMLNLU has been committed to providing high-quality undergraduate and post-graduate legal education. Ranking 15th among India’s top law institutes in the 2021 National Institutional Ranking Framework by the Ministry of Education, the university is fully funded by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

About the Journal:

The RMLNLU Law Review is an annual peer-reviewed journal published by the Journal Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University. It aims to provide insights into contemporary legal issues and fosters meaningful discussions on legal matters. In its fifteenth successful year, the RMLNLU Law Review is now accepting submissions for Volume XV.

This journal runs parallel to the RMLNLU Law Journal on CMET (Communications, Media, Entertainment, and Technology), providing a robust platform for legal scholars and professionals to contribute their views.

Call for Papers:

We are now inviting submissions under the following categories:

• Articles: 5000-7000 words
• Essays: 4000-5000 words
• Case Notes/Comments: 2000-3000 words
• Book Reviews: 2000-3000 words

Review Process:

The review process comprises three stages with close involvement from the Advisory Board. The board includes professors, advocates, and legal professionals, ensuring high-quality academic writing and originality in every published article. Authors will be kept informed about their manuscript’s status at each stage.

Submission Guidelines:

• Content Formatting:
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pts
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch from all sides
  • Alignment: Justified
• Footnotes:
  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pts
  • Line Spacing: 1.0
  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th edition)

Important Notes:

• No endnotes or descriptive footnotes are allowed.
• Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors, except for book reviews and case comments.
• An abstract of 250-300 words along with five keywords is mandatory.
• Ensure adherence to the plagiarism limit of 33%.

Submission Procedure:

Submissions should be sent via email to lawreview.rmlnlu[at]gmail.com in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Please include the name of the document as the author(s)’ name and use the subject line: “Article/Essay/Case Comment/Book Review for Volume XV.”

Each author is allowed only one submission. The first submission will be considered for review in case of multiple submissions.
