Call for Papers: Edited Book on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) [No Publication Fee |Law Teachers India | RGNUL ] Submit Abstract by 31 July 2025

About the Project

Law Teachers India in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab invites submissions for an edited book titled “Indian Knowledge System (IKS) – भारतीय ज्ञान परम्परा.” This initiative builds on the success of two national-level capacity-building programs, which saw participation from over 1500 academics, researchers, and professionals.

This interdisciplinary volume aims to integrate traditional Indian knowledge with contemporary academic fields and promote the mainstreaming of IKS through critical engagement.

Concept Note

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) encompasses India’s ancient and contemporary contributions to diverse domains including science, mathematics, philosophy, arts, medicine, governance, and spirituality. Initiatives like the IKS Division under the Ministry of Education aim to revive, research, and integrate this knowledge into the mainstream education and policy frameworks.

This publication seeks to build on that momentum by inviting original research and perspectives on IKS across disciplines, including but not limited to law, social science, science, and humanities.
