The European Investment Law and Arbitration Review (EILAR) is a reputed peer-reviewed journal published by Wolters Kluwer. Submissions will be categorized into the following formats:
All word limits include footnotes. Submissions must be in English and written to near-native proficiency. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and adhere to the journal’s house style.
Open to legal scholars, researchers, PhD candidates, postgraduate law students, and practicing lawyers. Co-authored submissions are permitted.
All submissions are double-blind peer reviewed by subject matter experts affiliated with EFILA and Wolters Kluwer’s editorial board.
Q1: Who is eligible to submit?
A: Anyone with demonstrable research interest in investment arbitration and EU law, including law students and professionals.
Q2: Can I submit a paper already published elsewhere?
A: No. All submissions must be original and unpublished.
Q3: Is there a submission fee?
A: No. Submission and publication are free of charge.
Q4: Will I receive feedback if my paper is rejected?
A: Peer-reviewed feedback is provided at the editorial committee’s discretion.
Q5: Can I submit outside the theme?
A: Yes. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis for pre-publication throughout the year.
