Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab is a reputed national law university with a legacy of academic excellence and significant contributions to legal scholarship and policymaking. Known for hosting intellectually enriching conferences, symposia, and publications, RGNUL has produced thought leaders in constitutional law, human rights, and public policy. The university’s Centre for Constitutional Law and Governance and Centre for Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law are jointly organising this conference, aiming to foster critical dialogue and comparative analysis of constitutional systems worldwide.
This international conference is designed to provide a platform for legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to engage in critical reflection on 75 years of the Constitution of India, contextualised through a comparative study with major constitutions of the world. The event seeks to promote in-depth discussion on constitutional developments, challenges, and innovations across jurisdictions. Ideal for law students, researchers, and legal professionals, this event aims to foster skills in legal research, writing, analysis, and networking.

The conference will feature both offline and online paper presentations, plenary sessions, and discussions. Evaluation will be based on the originality of research, clarity of expression, legal acumen, and contribution to the comparative constitutional discourse. Selected papers may be considered for publication in conference proceedings or allied journals. Authors of shortlisted abstracts will be notified via email.
