The Human Rights Law Journal (HRLJ), an annual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal of NLUO, invites original and unpublished submissions in the fields of human rights law and policy, both domestic and international. Submissions can be made under the following categories:

  • Articles (Max: 6000 words, excl. footnotes): Comprehensive analysis of doctrinal or empirical human rights issues, including comparative legal studies.
  • Case Comments/Legislative Comments (Max: 3500 words): Critical evaluation of recent judgments or legislative developments and their legal significance.
  • Book Reviews (Max: 2500 words): Analytical commentary on relevant legal texts and their impact on existing human rights discourse.
