About the Journal
The Indian Arbitration Law Review (IALR) is a reputed, annual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. The journal is exclusively dedicated to arbitration law and provides a comprehensive analysis of developments in domestic and international arbitration.
The IALR is published by Eastern Book Company (EBC) and is indexed on SCC Online and HeinOnline, ensuring high visibility among arbitration scholars, practitioners, and policymakers.
About the Call for Papers
Submissions are invited for Volume VIII (2025–2026) from law students, academicians, researchers, and practitioners across the legal profession. The editorial board seeks original, scholarly, and unpublished manuscripts exploring contemporary themes, doctrinal issues, and innovative solutions within arbitration law.
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process and will be evaluated for originality, clarity, depth, and contribution to the field.

Note: Word count excludes footnotes and abstract. A 10% relaxation may be granted at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
Submission Guidelines
- Language: English only
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 pt (text), 10 pt (footnotes)
- Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text), single (footnotes)
- Citation Style: OSCOLA 4th Edition (footnote system only; no endnotes or in-text citations)
- Abstract: Not more than 300 words (mandatory for Articles; not required for Case Comments or Book Reviews)
- Co-Authorship: Permitted with no cap on the number of authors
- Author Anonymity: Manuscript must not contain any identifying information; however, authors may cite their own published works
- Substantive Footnotes: Permissible
- Figures & Tables: Permitted with proper source attribution

A: Yes. While the focus is on arbitration, interdisciplinary submissions with relevance to arbitration law are welcome.
