About the Conference

The International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approach to Achieving Sustainability in Trade, Investment, and Competition Law, organized by the Centre for Trade, Investment, and Competition (CTIC), Bennett University, aims to address the complex interplay between international trade law, investment law, and competition law in the context of sustainability and sustainable development goals (SDGs). As economies shift toward greener, more sustainable practices, there is a growing need for legal frameworks that support sustainability without compromising competitiveness.

This conference will gather legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss the latest research and legal developments in trade, investment, and competition law as they relate to sustainability.

Thematic Areas for Submissions

Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts related to one of the following tracks:

• Trade Barriers and SDGs
• Environmental Aspects of Trade and Investment
• Free Trade Agreements and SDGs
• Artificial Intelligence in Global Trade
• Competition Law and Sustainability
• Carbon Pricing Policies in International Trade

• Sustainability Agreements vs. Greenwashing
• Multilateralism and Inclusive Growth

Other relevant topics in the context of trade, investment, and competition law are also welcome.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstract: Maximum 1000 words, submitted by October 15, 2024.
• Full Paper: Maximum 5000 words, due by November 15, 2024.
• Co-authorship: Allowed (maximum of two authors).
• Format: Abstract and paper submissions should be in .doc or .docx format. Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and OSCOLA citation style.

Publication Opportunities

Selected papers will be published in an edited book with an ISBN, subject to peer review and compliance with academic standards.
