About the Event

JNLUD is inviting submissions for its 11th volume. The journal welcomes original, unpublished articles, case comments, and book reviews from legal scholars and professionals. The review process is thorough, including a desk review and a double-blind peer review. This ensures a fair and rigorous evaluation of all submissions.

  • Opening Date for Submissions: September 17, 2024
  • Deadline for Submissions: January 15, 2025

Formatting Guidelines

  • Word Count:
    • Short Articles: 6000–8000 words
    • Long Articles: 8000–10,000 words
    • Notes/Comments: Less than 5000 words
    • Book Reviews: Around 2500 words
  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th edition)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 for text, 10 for footnotes
  • Spacing: 1.5 for text, 1 for footnotes
  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format.
  • Abstract & Keywords: Each submission, except for book reviews, must include a 300-word abstract and five keywords.

Location

  • The entire submission process will take place online via the university’s designated submission portal.

Other Details

  • Eligibility: Submissions are welcome from legal academics, doctoral researchers, and professionals. Co-authorship is allowed for up to three authors.
  • Review Process: JNLUD follows a two-stage review process (desk review and peer review). Authors can expect to receive a decision within 12–15 weeks of submission.
  • Open Access: All published content is freely available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
