About the Journal

The Indian Journal of Constitutional Law (IJCL) is an annually published, peer-reviewed journal committed to promoting scholarship on constitutional law and comparative constitutional studies. The journal has previously featured contributions from renowned legal scholars, judges, and practitioners, including Prof. Upendra Baxi, Prof. Gary Jacobsohn, Prof. Ran Hirschl, Justice Michael Kirby, Mr. Soli Sorabjee, and Mr. Arvind Datar.

IJCL invites original and high-quality submissions for Volume 13 (2025), providing a platform for legal academics, practitioners, and researchers to engage with contemporary constitutional law debates.

Submission Details

Submission Guidelines

🔹 Submissions must adhere to the IJCL Submission Guidelines (attached below).
🔹 Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
🔹 Footnotes must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st Edition).
🔹 Articles, essays, case notes, and book reviews are welcome.
