About National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal
The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, established in 1997, is one of India’s premier legal institutions. Known for academic excellence and innovative approaches, NLIU launched the NLIU Cell for Law and Technology (NLIU-CLT) in 2019 to bridge the gap between legal frameworks and technological advancements. This initiative addresses the legal challenges posed by rapidly evolving technology, promoting research and dialogue in areas such as data privacy, AI, blockchain, and intellectual property.
About the Event
The NLIU Journal of Law and Technology is the flagship publication of NLIU-CLT, dedicated to exploring contemporary issues at the intersection of law and technology. This journal provides a platform for students, academicians, and legal professionals to contribute to meaningful discussions and research on technology law.
Contributors are encouraged to submit comprehensive and original articles that critically analyze emerging issues in fields like cybersecurity, AI ethics, fintech, intellectual property, and digital privacy.

- Long Articles: 4000-8000 words (Comprehensive analysis of technology law issues)
- Short Articles: 2000-4000 words
- Case Comments: 1500-4000 words (Critical analysis of judgments)
- Book Reviews: 1000-3000 words
Abstract: Long and short articles must include a 300-word abstract highlighting the novelty and significance of the work.
Authorship: Co-authorship up to 2 authors is allowed.
Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition) – Footnotes only.
Formatting:
- Main Text: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 Line Spacing
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10, Single Line Spacing
