About the RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR):

RFMLR is a bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed law journal, first published in 2014. It offers a platform for legal practitioners, academics, and law students to contribute doctrinal and empirical research in business and commercial law. The journal is indexed on SCC Online and Manupatra and ranks among the top 10 most accessed law school journals on SCC Online. In addition to regular publications, RFMLR organizes academic initiatives and workshops in collaboration with prominent law firms, promoting advanced study in commercial law.


About Volume XII Issue I:

RFMLR invites submissions for Volume XII Issue I, focusing on contemporary developments in financial and mercantile law. The Editorial Board welcomes submissions on topics such as corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, insolvency, banking and finance, insurance, capital markets, dispute resolution, international trade, taxation, intellectual property, real estate, technology, media & telecommunication, and white-collar crimes. The issue seeks to foster insightful discourse on the latest legal developments in these areas.

Submission Categories:

  • Article: 6000-12,000 words
  • Short Note: 4000-6000 words
  • Case Comment: 3000-5000 words
  • Book Review: 1500-3000 words

(The word limit excludes footnotes.)

Eligibility:

Submissions are invited from legal practitioners, professionals, academics, and law students.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. The submission must be original, unpublished, and adhere to the highest standards of research and analysis.
  2. Co-authorship is allowed for a maximum of two authors.
  3. Manuscripts should be in English and follow the provided format.
  4. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
  5. Detailed guidelines and the Certificate of Originality and Copyright form can be found on the RFMLR website.

Submission Process:

  1. Submissions must be made through the Google Form: Submit Here.
  2. Each author can submit only one manuscript.
  3. The submission should be in .doc or .docx format.
  4. Upon submission, you will receive a code for your manuscript for future communication.
