About the Event

Solventia invites submissions for Volume II, Issue 1, which is scheduled for publication in March 2025. The journal offers a platform for practitioners, academicians, and students to present innovative perspectives on insolvency and bankruptcy laws. This issue will feature long articles, short articles, and case notes/book reviews that engage with contemporary developments and jurisdiction-specific themes.


Submission Dates and Guidelines

  • Submission Deadline: December 20, 2024, by 11:59 PM.
  • Submissions will undergo a three-stage blind review process conducted by the Solventia Editorial Board. The review will conclude eight weeks after the submission deadline.
  • Late submissions will be considered for subsequent issues and should be emailed to solventia@nlujodhpur.ac.in with the subject: Rolling Submission for Solventia.

Scope of Contributions

Submissions may include:

  1. Long Articles: 6,000–8,000 words (excluding footnotes).
  2. Short Articles: 3,000–6,000 words (excluding footnotes).
  3. Case Notes/Book Reviews: 1,500–2,000 words (excluding footnotes).

Topics must align with the journal’s focus on insolvency and bankruptcy laws. Submissions from practitioners, academicians, and students are encouraged.

Formatting and Other Details

  1. Submissions must adhere to the OSCOLA citation style.
  2. Include a 200-word abstract with the manuscript.
  3. Submissions should not contain a table of contents or numbered paragraphs.
  4. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  5. Co-authorship is permitted for up to three authors.
  6. A separate cover page should be attached with the following details:
    • Name of the author(s).
    • Affiliation and professional qualifications.
    • Contact details.

Manuscripts must not contain any identifying details to maintain anonymity during the review process.
