The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, is a leading law school in India, committed to academic and research excellence. Established in 2019, the Centre for Labour Laws (CLL) at NLIU aims to foster awareness of labour rights through research, advocacy, and educational programs. The Centre provides a platform for policy analysis, legal research, and debates on labour issues to build equitable and effective labour and employment laws.
The NLIU Journal on Labour and Employment Laws (JLEL) is a peer-reviewed, annual journal that encourages academic discourse on labour laws, focusing on issues related to fair workspaces and social equity. Volume IV of JLEL invites original contributions examining the intersection of gig work and social security, with a particular emphasis on challenges and regulatory solutions under India’s evolving labour codes.
