The editorial team invites submissions for an edited volume titled “Artificial Intelligence and Legal Evidence: The Indian Policy and Perspective” to be published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group. Format/Structure

  • Abstract: Maximum of 250 words, submitted by January 20, 2025.

  • Final Manuscript: Ready for publication by November 1, 2025.

Papers should reflect interdisciplinary insights, combining law, technology, and public policy perspectives. Submissions must address key areas such as Criminal Law, Corporate Law, ADR, IPR, Taxation, Labour Laws, and emerging soft laws. Contributions can include case studies, empirical research, theoretical analysis, and policy-oriented reviews.


Location

The entire process, including submission and editorial reviews, will be conducted online. The final publication will be available globally through CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group.


Additional Details

India currently lacks a comprehensive regulatory framework governing AI. However, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued an advisory on AI usage by social media platforms and content developers in March 2024. Despite the absence of formal legislation, AI is increasingly integrated into fields such as medicine, law enforcement, and administration. This book aims to explore AI’s potential and limitations in legal evidence evaluation and to contribute to future policy frameworks.
