About the Event

The DNLU Student Law Journal (SLJ) – Online invites submissions on a rolling basis to contribute to legal scholarship. This initiative is designed to facilitate discourse on contemporary legal issues, and to provide an accessible, credible, and academically rigorous platform for aspiring legal authors. The journal encourages original contributions from law students, academicians, researchers, and legal practitioners in the form of articles, case comments, legislative notes, and book reviews.

The DNLU-SLJ (Online) is an annual, double-blind, student-reviewed journal and offers a unique opportunity to get published under a recognized institutional name. With a strong emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach and academic originality, the journal aims to cultivate legal writing and critical thinking skills.

Format and Structure

The review process involves two main stages:

• Technical Review: Includes a plagiarism check and technical formatting verification, completed within 48–72 hours.
• Content Review: Conducted over 14 days, focusing on language, logic, coherence, originality, structure, grammar, and academic contribution.

Final selection is made after due editorial communication. Authors are expected to adhere to the review board’s suggestions and complete any necessary revisions within the assigned deadline.
